Deputy Chris Dewey of the Mahnomen County, Minnesota Sheriff's  Department was investigating a shots fired call when he was shot in the head and abdomen.  A nearby Deputy found Chris and was able to get him emergency medical aid.

    Chris has been transferred to Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado for treatment and rehabilitation.  His story has inspired law enforcement around the country, including those of us at MAGTF.
